I THINK ABOUT YOU ALL THE TIME

Written from a very personal place, this song is about missing someone who played an important part in your life and realizing that distance doesn’t diminish the connection you shared. While inspired by one particular relationship, I tried to capture something universal—the people who remain a part of our lives simply because we never stop thinking about them.

SCREAMING WITHOUT WORDS

Hopefully, you can hear the frustration and anger hiding beneath the folksy sound of this song. It came from those moments when the state of the world leaves you with so much to say that you can’t find the words for any of it—and sometimes the only thing left to do is scream.

I HEAR SHADOWS

This chorus was written in college while I was dealing with the loss of some friends and family. Almost two decades later, after losing my 11-year-old nephew, I returned to it and wrote the verses. It became an expression of grief that changes with time but never entirely leaves us.

UNREGULATED SELF-DOUBT

This song explores the cycle of self-doubt that can come with anxiety, when one question or worry seems to lead immediately to another. I deliberately packed the lyrics with words and left few comfortable places to breathe, using the phrasing itself to help convey that anxious, unsettled feeling.

LITTLE THINGS

There’s a difficult realization in knowing that, if we’re fortunate enough to have our parents with us, someday we’ll have to face losing them. These lyrics are about imagining life without their guidance and love—and the small reminders that will remain to keep them close.

TRUST ME (EVERYTHING IS OKAY )

Sometimes we just need someone to tell us that everything is going to be okay, especially when it doesn’t feel that way. Those words may not magically make everything better, but a little reassurance can help us breathe, regain perspective, and remember that what we’re feeling right now won’t last forever.
